Planning the Website with Shield
We worked with Shield Healthcare Solutions, a health insurance adviser in Grangemouth, to plan a WordPress website for two audiences. Someone looking for family cover has different questions from an employer reviewing staff benefits. We advised Shield on how to organise the site around that distinction and supported the team as the approved wording took shape on the page.
Making the Insurance Advice Easier to Follow
We gave personal and business cover separate places in the main navigation. Families can go straight to information about covering a household or switching a policy. Employers can explore cover for a small business or read about employee benefits. Both routes share a guide to private medical insurance, so visitors who are new to the subject have somewhere to start.
The team profiles introduce the people visitors can speak to. Alongside them, we made clear how the relationship works: Shield advises customers on WPA’s products, and WPA provides the insurance.
Personal and Business Enquiry Forms
We built separate enquiry forms for personal and business cover. Someone enquiring for themselves or their family can contact Shield from the personal cover page without working through questions meant for an employer. The business form asks for the organisation’s name, roughly how many people it employs and what it would like help with. That gives Shield useful context for the first call.
Hosting and Support After Launch
We continue to look after the website for Shield. Our ongoing website support covers hosting, security and WordPress updates. When the team needs advice about a change, they can come back to the people who planned and built the site with them.
